Overview

OpenChrom provides a variety of options for customizing the workbench. They may be divided into global settings – referred to as preferences – and local settings. Changed preferences are stored permanently and affect all relevant functionalities within OpenChrom. The preferences dialog allows changing the settings of various algorithms (e.g. peak detection) and some appearance features of the graphs as well as adjusting the proxy settings. The local settings only affect the currently active view and are lost after closing down OpenChrom. They allow an extensive customization of the appearance of the current graph, which may be useful e.g. for publication purposes.
