Open any xy-type data
Apart from the data openable with the various data import converters OpenChrom is capable to open and visualise any type of chromatographic data, if it is available as a text file consisting of a <tab>-separated two-column array. The first column should hold the retention time in minutes and the second column the respective intensities. Any headers should be removed and the text files should be renamed to *.xy files.
The procedures for opening xy files are similar to the ones for FID files.
There are three different ways to open xy data files:
- Open files via the view Chromatogram File Explorer (FID). This view is usually already open after starting the FID perspective.
If not, you find a description here, how to open views. Note, that by this route files can only be opened one by one.
- Open files via the menu bar (similar to opening MSD files, check here). This way multiple files can be selected.
